Alexandria Technical & ����ֱ�� recently recognized several students who competed at the local SkillsUSA competitions. Students who received top awards are eligible to compete at the state competition in April.

Alexandria Technical & ����ֱ�� is proud to be recognized by CDW in a recent case study detailing our innovative partnership in modernizing campus communications. With the expertise and dedication of our IT department, led by voice administrator and IT security specialist Joni Leuthardt, the college successfully transitioned to Cisco Webex Calling in the summer of 2024.

Alexandria Technical & ����ֱ�� recognizes individual students for academic excellence. The Dean's List includes students who achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher while enrolled as a full-time student (12 credits or more).

Alexandria College hosted a local DECA Competition on January 23, 2025. Alexandria College students and over 150 high school students competed on campus in business-related events.

Reece Peterson, a Police Training and Education student at Alexandria Technical and ����ֱ��, was named the Minnesota SkillsUSA state president. Eli Haakenson, an Alexandria College Mechatronics student, was named Minnesota SkillsUSA state parliamentarian.

More than an accreditation checkbox, strategic planning is integral to aligning our resources, activities, and goals, so that we can work toward a shared vision. Based upon the input of faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community, a new strategic framework (2025-2030) titled “The Best is Yet to Come” more succinctly restates our mission, vision, and values - bridging our successful past with our desired future.

Lynn Arnquist, a customized training representative at Alexandria Technical and ����ֱ��, has been named the 2025 Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Board President. Lynn brings her passion for fostering community connections and her dedication to innovation into this leadership role, exemplifying the strong ties between Alexandria College and the greater Alexandria area.

Alexandria Technical & ����ֱ�� accounting students are offering free tax return preparation for low income taxpayers from February 6 to April 10, 2025 (closed over spring break). Students are certified by the IRS to prepare returns.
