SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Alexandria College posted its first golf results at the Augustana Spring Invite on Sunday.
Despite a slow start to the Legends inaugural Division II golf season in part due to COVID-19, Abby Hamman tied for 58th out of 84 competitors, turning in two rounds of 88 for a total of 176. Hamman was the sole Legends golfer competing against golfers from 12 colleges including Winona State University, Augustana, Southwest Minnesota State, Bemidji State and Upper Iowa.
“We are very proud of Abby in our first competition,” said Alexandria Legends Golf Coach Scott Dirck. “The conditions were difficult with cold temperatures and high winds, but Abby persisted.”
