In a first-of-its-kind regional event, various Minnesota high school eSports teams from across the state will compete for the inaugural Battle in the North title. The two-day event will be held on February 17-18, 2024 at Alexandria Technical & ����ֱ�� in Alexandria, Minnesota.

Polaris Inc. (Polaris), through The Polaris Foundation, donated $20,000 to the Alexandria Technical and ����ֱ�� Foundation to support the Polaris Workforce Development Scholarship.

Alexandria Technical & ����ֱ�� accounting students are offering free tax return preparation for low income taxpayers from February 6 to April 11, 2024 (closed over spring break). Students are certified by the IRS to prepare returns.

RegisteredNursing.org ranked Alexandria Technical and ����ֱ�� one of the top Registered Nursing (RN) programs in Minnesota.

The Alexandria Elks Lodge donated 72 pounds of ground beef and 38 pounds of personal care items to Alexandria Technical and ����ֱ��’s food pantry, Jennie’s Cupboard.

According to Gallup research, Generation Z students view college as an important step to take after high school. Unlike several generations before them, however, Gen Z notes that affordability and quality career preparation are critical to their college experience. They want an education that sets them up for success in careers, but not just any job will do – Gen Z is seeking careers that provide a livable income and healthy life-work balance.

More than 60 donors, alumni, and friends of Alexandria College enjoyed an evening of entertainment and excitement during Alexandria College’s Donor and Alumni Night during the Alexandria Blizzard hockey game on January 6, 2024.

Alexandria Technical & ����ֱ�� recognizes individual students for academic excellence. The Dean's List includes students who achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher while enrolled as a full-time student (12 credits or more).

To ensure we continue to meet (and exceed) industry standards and the “best in class” expectations we set for ourselves, the college collects and reviews several metrics each year: retention rates by program, licensure exam pass rates, related job placement rates (98%), and graduation rates. In Minnesota’s two-year colleges, Alexandria Technical & ����ֱ�� is in the top three in each of these areas.
